EFESTI SUGGESTS: ART & FOODS – RITUALI DAL 1851

From the 10th of April to the 1st of November 2015, the Triennale of Milan gives voice to the relationship between the arts and the food. In the pavillion ‘Art’ of Expo 2015, which is the only subject area built in the city and organized in the indoor and outdoor spaces of the Triennale, the exhibition “Arts & Foods ” will focus on the plurality of visual, models, object and environment languages that since 1851, which is the year of the first Expo in London, until now have pivoted around food, nutrition and banquet. The fig curated by Germano Celant wants to testify how the culinary and foods rites were expressed through all languages: from art to architecture, from photography to television, from publishing to print, from fashion to industry. Hundreds and hundreds of works, objects and documents from museums, public and private institutions, collectors and artists from all the the world, will create a collection and a journey through time that will creatively reflects the theme of the Universal Exposition of Milan: “Nutrire il Pianeta, Energia per la Vita”.

To all those who will be in Milan during the Design Week, Efesti recommend to pinning even this anticipation of Expo to taste a selection of contaminations between art and food!
